Meet Dr. Louis R. Manara
A Leading Fertility Doctor Since 1985
A True Trailblazer
In vitro fertilization was once prohibited in our country. However, continued successes gradually paved the way for IVF. Our doctor, while in the midst of a prestigious fellowship, recognized the life-changing potential of this treatment. He took the opportunity to be at the forefront of family creation by helping establish the first IVF clinic in the state of New Jersey.
Shortly after opening, this IVF program received glowing local news coverage. A woman who had unsuccessfully tried to conceive for more than a decade had the good fortune of seeing a segment on the program.
She reached out to see if our doctor could help her conceive despite suffering from severely damaged fallopian tubes and undergoing two failed reconstructive tubal surgeries. This prospective mother became one of our first patients and was successfully able to conceive in just her second IVF treatment cycle. Achieving a successful pregnancy in the pioneering years of IVF gave Dr. Manara the confidence to do the same for hundreds of couples over the many decades since.
5-Star Reviews From Voorhees Patients
Dr.Manara and his staff are the best. I wish Dr. Manara would also deliver babies because I was released today and it was bittersweet. Kelly at the front desk is so warm and knowledgeable. The ultrasound tech is incredible, she is a professional at what she does ! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend or use this doctor again ! thank you!

Growing up, Dr. Manara saw firsthand the incredible impact a doctor can have on their patients. His stepfather was a primary care physician in Brooklyn who invited young Louis to spend his summers working as an extern at his medical office. He was treated as a real medical student and would take histories, conduct exams, set minor fractures, and more.
At every possible turn, Louis’ stepfather taught and showed him interesting physical findings and conditions. He instilled confidence in him and encouraged the future Dr. Manara to become a “super-specialist” instead of a generalist. This phenomenal advice was the spark that led Dr. Manara to become a reproductive endocrinologist.
A Personal Letter From a Voorhees Parent
Dr. Manara Helps Generations of New Jersey Residents Smile
Dr. Manara has maintained a lifetime commitment to practicing the piano and improving his improvisational jazz skills. Our doctor has spent many years volunteering in assisted living residences in our community to provide jazz piano performances. He considers it a great privilege to be able to combine his love of the piano with his desire to provide entertainment for the elderly.
Dr. Manara has a specific love for the “Standards” from the Great American Songbook. The music he loves to play is what the current generation of elderly people love and remember from their younger years. He considers it a true pleasure to see them smile, hum, and sing along as he performs the tunes of their youth.

Dr. Manara Is Dedicated to Family
Dr. Manara loves spending time with his four young grandchildren who are incredibly curious to learn about everything around them. Their age and innocence, combined with Dr. Manara’s constant doting, have convinced them that he is very smart — for now!
Our fertility expert also has a great personal love of the sea. He spends much of the summertime boating, fishing, clamming, and crabbing. Introducing his grandchildren to the great beauty and wonders of the ocean has been an invaluable experience.
